Hello Warrior Band family,

Thank you to all who came out and participated at the Warrior Band on the Run 5k! Personally, it is one of my favorite events we have in the band program because how much of the community comes out to support...it wouldn't happen without you. In the end, we had 249 runners, joggers, walkers, and...pirates. Shoutout to Nick M., Gabriel C., and their friend Zane for this ridiculous pirate ship:

A big shout out to the Jazz Band for earning 3^rd place at the TCU Jazz Festival! If you didn't know, the TCU Jazz Festival has always been one of the crown jewels of jazz contest in the Metroplex. To finish on the podium at this event is a REALLY BIG DEAL! Their next performance is in a little over a month at the Grand Prairie Fine Arts Academy Jazz Festival. Stay tuned for more details.

Winter guard - Championship week!  

We hope everyone can join us this Thursday evening at 8pm in Gym A for our Friends and Family performance! The performance is free and open to all.

Then on Saturday, April 1st, the winter guard will be performing at the NTCA Championships at Mansfield HS.  Their performance time is 4:13pm.  Mr. Moore will have the itinerary ready to go for all winter guard kiddos later today.

Percussion at TCU Percussion Festival - This Saturday

Also taking place on April 1^st is the TCU Percussion Festival! It has been just about a decade since our percussionists have done a concert percussion contest...we are all very excited for them to get back into that world!  Their performance time is 9:05am.  This performance is taking place in the brand new Van Cliburn Hall which is absolutely stunning!

UIL - Updated Times

There was a schedule snafu with the draw order for UIL in a few weeks and they've redone the times. Contest is still at the Arlington ISD CVPA. Here are the new performance times:

Symphonic Band - Tuesday, April 11^th @ 11:25am

Wind Symphony - Wednesday, April 12^th @ 3:45pm

Wind Ensemble - Friday, April 14^th @ 3:50pm
